Southwest Oncology opened in 2001 in a collaborative relationship with Durango Cancer Center to provide comprehensive and coordinated cancer care to patients needing medical treatment for cancer and to patients with blood disorders. Highly experienced oncology specialists participate in multidisciplinary reviews to ensure the right treatments are administered at the right time, based on evidence-based practice.
